Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, milk and egg.
- Shape into twenty meatballs.
- Brown well in two tablespoons oil.
- Drain excess fat.
- Sprinkle meatballs with flour and stir gently to coat.
- Cut tomatoes into bite-size pieces.
- Combine tomatoes and their liquid with Heinz 57 sauce and salt.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes.
- Serve over cooked noodles.
