Ingredients

  • 12 strips bacon, cut in half
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1/2 lb. chicken or beef livers

Method

  • Lay the half slices of bacon out; cut livers into small pieces to fit inside bacon.
  • Place water chestnut first at the end of bacon, then liver.
  • Now roll ingredients firmly together.
  • Put toothpick through ingredients to hold together.
  • Put in a nonstick pan at 350° and bake for 30 minutes, until liver and bacon are done.
