- 1 gal. ground pears
- 1/2 gal ground onions
- 10 sweet green peppers, ground
- 4 sweet red peppers, ground
- 4 hot peppers, ground
- 2 c. salt
- 2 quarts vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. turmeric
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. white mustard seed (if mustard seed are not available celery seeds will do)
Method
- Cook syrup 5 minutes then add ground mixture.
- Simmer together for 5 minutes.
- Pour into hot jars, and seal.
