Ingredients
- 1 stick melted oleo
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 1/2 c. rice (not instant)
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
Method
- Stir all ingredients together in a 2-quart casserole dish. Cook at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and stir thoroughly.
- Bake for 15 more minutes.
- Serve with round steak, or if you choose, serve the steak in the casserole.
