Ingredients
- 2 large red onions
- 4 firm tomatoes
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of black ground pepper
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
Method
- Slice onions; soak in cold water for about 20 minutes.
- Drain off water; put in salad bowl with cut tomato wedges.
- Toss with remaining ingredients.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil.
