Ingredients
- 1 baked pie shell
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Cool Whip (optional)
Method
- Boil and simmer water and raisins about 20 minutes (cover with lid).
- Beat eggs with wire whip in bowl.
- Mix sugar and cornstarch; mix in with eggs; add milk.
- Add to cooked raisins and cook to boil.
- Remove from stove; add vanilla and butter.
- Cool and refrigerate.
- May top with Cool Whip.
