Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Boneless sirloin steak, 3/4 inch thick
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 Cup frozen or fresh green or red pepper strips
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 (10 1/4 oz.) Beef gravy
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 Cup hot cooked rice

Method

  • Slice beef into very thin strips.
  • Heat 1 tbsp. oil in skillet. Add beef and stir-fry until browned and juices evaporate.
  • Push to one side of skillet.
  • Heat remaining oil.
  • Add peppers, onion and garlic and cook until tender-crisp.
  • Add gravy and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Heat through.
  • Serve over rice. To make slicing easier, freeze for 1 hour.
