Ingredients
- 1 large can pumpkin
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 cubes butter or margarine
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Mix the first six ingredients well.
- Pour into a well-greased, 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.
- Sprinkle or sift dry cake mix on top of pie mix.
- Melt margarine and pour over top of dry cake mix. Sprinkle nuts on top.
- Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
- Serve with Cool Whip.
