Ingredients
- 4 lb. beef arm, blade or cross rib pot roast or 3 lb. beef bottom round, rolled rump, tip or chuck eye
- 1 can (10 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 8 small potatoes
- 8 medium carrots, cut crosswise in half
- 2 Tbsp. water
Method
- Place piece of foil 30 x 18-inches in ungreased rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches.
- Place beef in pan.
- Mix soup and onion soup mix; spread over meat.
- Add vegetables; sprinkle with water. Fold foil over and seal.
- Bake 4 hours in 300° oven.
- Makes 8 servings.
