Ingredients
- 1 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant pudding
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream shortening, sugar and brown sugar together.
- Stir in pudding.
- Beat eggs lightly and stir them into pudding mixture.
- Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
- Stir into pudding mixture.
- Blend well and fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes 7 dozen.
