Ingredients
- 1 qt. huckleberries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
Method
- Bring
- to
- boil
- the huckleberries, sugar and water. Mix dumplings
- made
- of
- rest of the ingredients.
- Spoon into warm fruit.
- Cover and cook on slow heat for 5 minutes. Leave covered; set off heat.
- Serve warm, with cream or ice cream.
