Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. warm shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. warm mashed potatoes
- 7 to 7 1/2 c. bread flour
Method
- Mix in order given, using enough flour to make dough easy to handle.
- Knead until smooth and elastic, 5 minutes.
- Let rise until doubled.
- (Or it can be refrigerated up to 5 days.)
- Punch down.
- Shape into rolls.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until brown.
