Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup chocolate chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit.
  • Mix dry ingredients together in a medium bowl.
  • Cream margarine and sugars.
  • Add eggs and vanilla and beat together.
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet.
  • Mix well.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Mix well.
  • Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet (or parchment paper lined) 2 inches apart.
  • Bake at 375 Fahrenheit for 10 - 12 minutes.
  • This recipe makes anywhere from 3 to 4 dozen cookies depending on the size of the "teaspoonful".
