Ingredients
- chuck roast
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt, pepper and flour
- oil
- 2 c. water
Method
- Salt and pepper roast.
- Dredge in flour and brown.
- Lay in baking dish.
- Layer with onions, pepper and mushrooms.
- Pour on liquid (water, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce).
- Cover dish and bake at 275° to 300° for 2 to 3 hours.
