Ingredients
- 6 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 c. margarine
- 9 lasagne noodles, cooked
- 8 slices American cheese
- prepared instant mashed potatoes for 8
- shredded Mozzarella cheese to taste
- salt
- pepper
Method
- Saute cabbage and onion until golden and clear.
- Place 1/3 cabbage mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan and add 3 noodles.
- Repeat previous 2 layers.
- Layer potatoes, then cheese, then noodles, then cabbage.
- Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
- Pour melted margarine over top.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, covered with foil.
- Bake 15 more minutes, uncovered.
- Let set before cutting.
