Ingredients
- 4 to 6 medium potatoes
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg
- a little water
Method
- Peel and cook 4 to 6 potatoes as for mashing.
- Mash with 1 tablespoon margarine and 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese; let cool.
- Make a dough with 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 egg and enough water to make a dough; pinch off small pieces of dough and roll out.
- Fill with potato mixture; fold dough over and pinch edges.
- Continue this until all potatoes are used.
- You can either fry them in hot oil or boil them.
