Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg (unbeaten)
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Soften yeast
- in
- water and set aside.
- Combine cottage cheese, onion, dill
- weed,
- soda,
- sugar, butter and salt. Mix egg with yeast
- and
- combine all using electric mixer; beat in flour. Knead and
- let rise until doubled in size.
- Stir dough down and knead
- again.
- Turn
- into well-greased 8-inch round 2 quart casserole, let rise
- again.
- Bake
- at
- 350° for 40 to 45 minutes until brown.
- Brush with additional soft butter.
