Ingredients

  • 3 qt. tomatoes, peeled and chopped (I scald)
  • 4 big bell peppers, chopped fine
  • 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
  • 4 medium size onions, chopped fine (I used my food processor for peppers and onions)
  • 1 clove garlic (optional, I don't use)
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano (optional, I did not use)
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin powder

Method

  • Let simmer until it cooks down and begins to thicken.
  • Then I use cornstarch to finish thickening to a desired consistency.
