Ingredients
- 3 qt. tomatoes, peeled and chopped (I scald)
- 4 big bell peppers, chopped fine
- 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine
- 4 medium size onions, chopped fine (I used my food processor for peppers and onions)
- 1 clove garlic (optional, I don't use)
- 3 heaping Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. oregano (optional, I did not use)
- 1/2 tsp. cumin powder
Method
- Let simmer until it cooks down and begins to thicken.
- Then I use cornstarch to finish thickening to a desired consistency.
