Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Northern beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can baked beans
  • 1 can black beans (optional)
  • 2 onions
  • 1/2 lb. bacon

Method

  • Cut off three slices from one of the onions and put aside. Chop up remaining onions and fry them.
  • Put aside a couple of slices of bacon, chop the rest and fry with onions.
  • Mix all beans in a large casserole dish, add the fried onions and bacon and mix together.
  • Top with the onion and bacon slices you had put aside. Bake in a 400° oven until onions and bacon on top are cooked. This recipe should easily serve 10 people.
