Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of nutmeg
- 1 c. persimmon pulp
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 raw crust
Method
- Combine dry ingredients; mix well.
- Stir in persimmon pulp, milk, egg and vanilla.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let cool.
- You might like to use apple pie spices instead of the 2 listed, at least 1 teaspoon.
