Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 lb. beef (round or sirloin), cut in 1/8 x 2-inch strips
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • canned beef bouillon
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste
  • cornstarch
  • as many onions and peppers as you like

Method

  • Melt butter and brown steak.
  • Add onions and peppers to meat and add all other ingredients except cornstarch.
  • Cook on low heat 10 to 15 minutes and then thicken with cornstarch.
  • Serve over rice.
