- 1 (10-ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 cup low-fat spaghetti sauce with garlic and herbs
Method
- Unroll dough on a large baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Press dough into a 12- x 9-inch rectangle. Brush melted margarine over dough. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and next 3 ingredients. Cut dough crosswise into 12 (1-inch-wide) strips, using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter. Cut dough in half lengthwise, forming 24 strips. (Do not separate strips.) Bake at 425° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. To separate sticks, cut along perforations.
- Place spaghetti sauce in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Serve with pizza sticks.
