Ingredients
- hot peppers, cleaned (leave whole)
- hot dog pieces
- 7 tsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 c. water
- 3 1/2 c. vinegar
- 3 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 pinch of alum (to each jar)
Method
- Clean peppers; leave whole.
- Stuff hot dog pieces into hot pepper.
- Pack tightly into wide mouth quart jars.
- Make mixture of remainder of ingredients.
- Pour over peppers 1/2 to 1-inch from top of jar.
- Cold pack 5 minutes.
