Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. coconut
Method
- Cream sugar and margarine.
- Beat well; add yolks.
- Sift dry ingredients and add milk alternately.
- Fold in beaten egg whites; add coconut.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Cool 10 minutes in oven with door open.
- Grease two 8-inch round cake pans and flour.
