Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 None ripe pear, quartered, cored, sliced
- 2 None thick slices seeded white bread
- 2 oz Stilton (or other blue cheese), crumbled
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces, chopped
Method
- Heat oil in skillet. Add pear. Saute over high heat for 2 mins until slightly softened. Under a hot broiler, lightly toast bread on both sides.
- Top toast with pear slices. Top with Stilton and walnuts. Broil until cheese is bubbling.
