Ingredients

  • 2 pears
  • 1 sheet puff pastry dough, cut into 4 squares
  • 1 egg white, lightly whisked
  • 1 teaspoons caster sugar
  • 125g tub PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons light cream
  • 2 teaspoons caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method

  • Peel, core and slice pears keeping attached at the stem end.
  • Place each onto a square of pastry, fanning out at the base.
  • Brush each pear and pastry with the egg white, sprinkle with sugar and bake on a lined oven tray at 200 degrees C for 15 minutes, or until golden and pear is tender.
  • Mix together the Philly*, cream, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  • Serve galettes warm with Philly* cream.
