Ingredients

  • 1 c. soft shortening
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 c. rolled oats

Method

  • Cream shortening and sugars.
  • Add in Large eggs and mix well till fluffy.
  • Add in peanut butter.
  • Sift flour, salt and baking soda.
  • Mix well with other ingredients.
  • Lastly add in oatmeal.
  • Drop on greased cookie sheet.
  • Dipping a fork in flour, then flatten and criss-cross cookies.
  • Bake at 350 degrees about 10 min.
