Ingredients
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 5 to 6 stalks celery, chopped in pieces
- 1 pkg. frozen English peas, thawed
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
- 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
Method
- Saute chopped onion in butter.
- Add chopped celery and saute a few minutes.
- Add thawed peas, mushrooms and sliced water chestnuts.
- Add soup and mix together.
- Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Sprinkle sharp cheese over top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
