Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 9 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 c. dry white wine
  • 1 (15 oz.) can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
  • pinch of dried crushed red pepper
  • 1 lb. gnocchi pasta or small shell pasta
  • 1 stalk broccoli florets
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (approximately 1 1/2 oz.)

Method

  • To start this meal right, prepare an easy-to-assemble platter of purchased caponata (eggplant relish), Italian olives, roasted peppers and seeded breadsticks.
  • Finish up dinner by drizzling sliced oranges with some Grand Marnier.
