Ingredients

  • 1 frying chicken (about 3 lb.), cut
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine

Method

  • Wash and dry chicken.
  • Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Coat each chicken piece evenly with flour mixture.
  • Roll each chicken piece in melted butter.
  • Place chicken in single layer, skin side down, in a greased shallow baking pan.
  • Bake in a preheated 400° oven about 1 hour, turning once at the end of 30 minutes.
  • Serves 4.
