- 4 c. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. water
- 1 pkg. (about 3/4 oz.) brown gravy mix
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- In 8 x 12-inch baking dish, combine potatoes, oil and pepper.
- Firmly press potato mixture evenly across bottom and up sides of dish to form a shell.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 15 minutes.
