Ingredients
- 4 sticks Fleischmann's margarine
- 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten slightly
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt (optional, I use salted margarine)
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 6 c. quick oats
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
Method
- Beat soft margarine and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Stir well.
- Add oats, applesauce and raisins.
- Mix well.
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes (I bake them 15 minutes).
- Makes 60 good size cookies. Use tablespoon to drop dough on nonstick cookie sheets.
- Store in airtight container.
