Ingredients

  • 1 salmon steak medium
  • 1 teaspoon fermented black beans Whole
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rice wine
  • 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 spring onion stem
  • fresh ginger cut into thin strips, optional

Method

  • Mash black beans by fork or in mortar. Add soy sauce, sugar, rice wine and dark sesame oil. Mix well
  • Place spring onion on a plate, put fish steak on top
  • Spread black bean mixture evenly over the steak. Sprinkle by some ginger
  • Place fish into steaming rack, cover and steam about 10 min
