Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter (not margarine)
  • 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • sifted powdered sugar

Method

  • Beat first three ingredients.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except for powdered sugar.
  • Mix thoroughly, using hands if necessary.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls.
  • Place 1 1/2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 325° for 14 to 16 minutes or until tinged with brown.
  • While warm, roll in powdered sugar.
  • Cool. Roll cookies in powdered sugar again.
