Ingredients

  • masala
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 5 butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup coriander
  • 2 lime juice
  • 1 tea spoon
  • tomato sauce or chili sauce or tamarind sauce according to taste
  • cheese

Method

  • Prepare a soft dough with wheat flour adding enough water and one teaspoon oil , divide the dough into 3 equal proportions and set aside to rest for atleast 20 minutes .
  • After 20 minutes knead the dough gently on a clean surface and roll each proportions into a large but thick roti .
  • Heat a tawa add in some butter and roast the roti an both sides with generous amounts of butter .
  • Set aside . In a plate arrange the chapati and place the manchuria near to one end, top it with chopped onions, coriander, chat masala , and finally sprinkle in some lime juice . You can grate paneer or cheese at this stage . You can even add sev for crunchy feeling on top of the stuffing.
  • Now gently roll the chapathi , so that the stuff wont spill out . Care should be taken that it should be tight enough .
  • Similarly prepare the other frankies , arrange in a plate and cut in the middle to make easy one serving frankie pieces . Serve hot with sauces you prefer .
