Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. link Italian sausage, sliced
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 (26 oz.) jars Classico pasta sauce, any flavor
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (1 lb.) pkg. mostaccioli, cooked and drained
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Method

  • In large saucepan, brown sausage; pour off fat.
  • Add onion and green pepper; cook and stir until tender.
  • Add pasta sauce and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  • Cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Toss hot cooked mostaccioli with oil to coat.
  • Serve with sauce.
  • Garnish as desired.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
