- Pillsbury German chocolate cake mix
- oleo
- Eagle Brand milk
- Kraft caramels
- pecans
Method
- Mix German chocolate cake mix as on box.
- Divide batter in half.
- To half batter add 1/2 cup of melted oleo and 1/2 cup of Eagle Brand milk. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350°.
- While baking melt 14 ounces of Kraft caramels, 1/2 cup oleo, other half of Eagle Brand milk and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
- Pour mixture over baked cake, then on the caramel mixture pour remaining cake batter.
- Bake additional 20 to 25 minutes.
- Use your own icing.
- Very rich.
