Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 large can Ranch Style beans
  • 2 whole green chilies
  • 1 can Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper or 2 small, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Method

  • In a large Dutch oven, combine cooked beef, beans, onion, bell pepper, garlic salt and chili powder.
  • Let simmer.
  • In a bowl, put stewed Mexican-style tomatoes and green chilies, then mix together with your hands until well blended. Add mixture to beans and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
  • Makes 6 servings.
