Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles
  • 6 c. V-8 juice
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream (1/2 pt.)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste
  • 1 c. water

Method

  • Saute beef and onion; drain.
  • Put beef and onion in large pot. Place uncooked noodles on top.
  • Mix all remaining ingredients. Pour over noodles and meat; do not stir! Bring to a slow boil, then reduce heat.
  • Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the noodles are tender.
  • Serve with Parmesan cheese.
  • Serves 10 to 12.
