Ingredients

  • 2 lbs green cabbage
  • 14 cup lemon juice
  • 12 cup mayonnaise
  • 14 cup white vinegar
  • 14 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 carrots, peeled and shredded

Method

  • Cut cabbage in quarters.
  • Remove core.
  • Cut into thin shreds.
  • Sprinkle with salt and toss.
  • Set aside.
  • Combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, vinegar, ketchup, and sugar.
  • Drain any accumulated liquid from cabbage.
  • Add carrots and dressing.
  • Toss to combine.
  • Tastes better the next day.
