Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Method
- Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
- Add 1/2 cup milk; mix until smooth.
- Add egg yolks; mix well.
- Add remainder of milk and vanilla.
- Cook until thick.
- Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.
- Brown in 425° oven for 4 to 5 minutes.
