Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh grape leaves
  • 1 cup small rice
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 big onions
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 12 cup olive oil
  • 3 lemons
  • 1 tablespoon spices
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 big potatoes
  • 5 lemon juice (for cooking)
  • 2 tomatoes (for cooking)

Method

  • 1.
  • Get a big pot put water and bring it to boil.
  • Then get the fresh vine leaves and put them in the boiling water for 5 minutes , then rake them out and put them aside.
  • 2.then in a big bowl wash the rice good and then chop the tomatoes,onions,parsley and mint into fine diced .
  • 3.
  • Then add them to the rice and put the juice of the 3 lemons and the half cup of olive oil.
  • Then add the spices and salt snd mix them very good together.
  • 4.
  • Then your ready go stuff the vine leaves.
  • 5.
  • Then its time to cook.
  • 6.
  • Get a big pot and peel the potatoes and chop them into big pieces and add them on the base of the pot.
  • Then start putting the vine leaves which we have stuffed and after on top of the vine leaves we put tomatoes and get a heavy small pot yo push the vine leaves.
  • Add water and olive oil and lemon juice and salt and pepper.
  • Then start cooking .
