Ingredients

  • 1 (2 to 3 lb.) chicken
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. diced green peppers
  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz.) can chili beans
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 pt. water
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Tabasco sauce (optional)

Method

  • Boil chicken until done.
  • Cool and pull off bone.
  • Add onions, peppers, water and crushed tomatoes.
  • Bring to simmer for about 30 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 hour (best next day).
