Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 4 1/2 c. flour, sifted
- 1 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans
Method
- Cream sugar and shortening, eggs and molasses.
- Add ginger, soda and salt to flour.
- Add pecans.
- Make into rolls the desired size of the cookies and place in refrigerator.
- Allow to stand overnight or longer, then slice and bake at 350°.
