Ingredients
- 6 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 Egg (room temperature)
- 175 ml Milk (room temperature)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 6 sausage
- 6 tsp olive oil
Method
- In a medium bowl, Whisk together the flour, salt and pepper.
- Add beaten egg and half of the milk.
- Whisk everything together with a hand blender or wire whisk.
- Add a bit more milk and continue stirring until the batter is well mixed and smooth.
- Strain and push any remaining lumps through a sieve.
- Keep batter in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220C.
- Put 1tsp oil and a sausage into each muffin cup.
- Then, put the muffin pan in the oven for a few minutes or until the oil is very hot.
- Carefully remove from the oven and quickly fill the cups.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with gravy sauce or ketchup.
