Ingredients
- 2 c. uncooked rice (long grain)
- small onion, diced
- small green pepper, diced
- 3 1/2 c. water
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- diced tomatoes (small can)
- all-purpose spices (Goya adobo, green cap)
- salt (optional)
Method
- Two cups raw rice is fried until golden brown.
- Then add onions, green pepper and spices.
- Mix together with rice for about 5 minutes.
- Add water, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
- Mix together (medium flame).
- "DO NOT STIR WHILE COOKING; RICE WILL STICK TOGETHER".
- Let cook about 15 to 20 minutes or until all water has evaporated.
- Ready to serve and eat.
