Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, uncooked
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 box lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • container sour cream
  • bag shredded Cheddar cheese
  • green onions
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano (if desired)
  • 16 oz. jar Chi Chi's salsa
  • 2 to 2 1/2 c. water

Method

  • Mix ground beef (uncooked), taco seasoning and refried beans together.
  • If adding oregano, add into this mixture.
  • In a baking pan, put a layer of lasagna noodles on the bottom. Top with layer of meat. Make three layers, ending with meat.
  • Mix salsa and water together and pour over top of last layer.
  • Bake, covered, for 1 hour on 350°.
  • Spread sour cream and Cheddar cheese over the top. Then put a few chopped green onions on top.
  • Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted (uncovered).
  • Let stand at least 10 minutes before serving.
