Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 3 well beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk, cooking sherry or homemade wine
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. seedless white raisins
  • 7 c. pecans
  • 6 slices candied pineapple
  • 2 c. candied cherries

Method

  • Cream together the brown sugar and margarine.
  • Add the eggs and milk, sherry or wine.
  • Sift together the flour, soda and cinnamon.
  • Mix the last 4 ingredients together.
  • Add all ingredients together; mix well.
  • Drop onto cookie sheet by spoonfuls.
  • Bake at 300° for 20 minutes.
  • Do not have fruit and nuts too coarse.
