Ingredients
- 4 sticks butter
- 3 c. Swans Down cake flour
- 6 eggs
- 1 lb. C & H powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 2 tsp. almond extract
Method
- Cream butter at room temperature.
- Add 1/3 sugar and cup flour, 2 eggs.
- Beat for 2 minutes.
- Add another 1/3 of sugar, cup flour and 2 eggs.
- Beat for 2 minutes.
- Add remaining sugar, flour and eggs.
- Beat and add flavors.
- Pour mixture into greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
