Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and mix all other ingredients well.
- Spoon batter into greased muffin tins and bake at 350°. This batter will keep well in the refrigerator if kept well covered.
